Dating Advice - Saying the Right Thing

You've broken the ice with someone online, and you'd really like to take it further. But how do you hold their interest and make them want you?

Some people can dry up easily and find they can't think of anything to say. When you're communicating online there's no eye contact and no facial expression to help you understand each other clearly. It's easy to put someone off by saying something you thought was funny, but they find offensive.

So here are some tips.....
Read their profile carefully (a number of times) so you know them well.
Make notes of their likes and dislikes, and make more notes as you chat.
You will impress someone if you appear to have an interest in them and listen well, remembering things they said, and following up by asking how things went etc. Make notes during the day, of things you'd like to say.
Take it steady. Don't rush into saying all the pervy things you want to do to them. Get a feel for how sexually liberated they are before you go for gratuitous cyber-sex. The same for suggesting you meet or taking address details - don't rush it or you'll put them off.

Don't talk about yourself all the time - aim for 25% you and 75% them.
Be punctual and don't forget to log-in for a chat at the time you agreed.
Once you start having to explain or give excuses you're history.
